I want to replace a LCD in my notebook. However, I accidently bought a new lcd screen with two CCFL's instead of one. I already have a new inverter, so it should fit.
However, before frying my notebook, are there reasons this should not work?

Only reasons would be if the inverter cannot handle two CCFL lamps at once. Chances are slim though, and you should be fine.

How did it turn out?

Kaltmond did this on his m860tu.
This is a really old thread... but something that was not mentioned is that dual CCFL LCDs are generally taller, and not all notebooks will accommodate for this without modification.
I don't think its more than a few MM though. -
Glad to see someone wil do this too. The Dual one is 3~5 mm taller than the singel one, so must check first if the A case will accept this new panel, or you will need to some modification on the case itself.
