I have a Lenovo X301, Windows Vista, with 48g hard drive. The hard drive is constantly reaching its limit. How do I replace it, and what do I need to know about selecting a hard drive??

    Thank you.

The Thinkpad X301 uses a 1.8" hard drive, so there are few options out there. Personally, I would suggest looking at a 1.8" SSD, since 1.8" HDDs are quite sluggish, and run at either 4200RPM or 5400RPM, while still costing a lot more than 2.5" HDDs. The Intel X-18M is a good SSD option, and comes in 80, 120, and 160GB sizes (a refresh is due early 2011 with further increased capacities).
