    Hi,

My sony viao laptop screen has broken. I am going to attempt to replace the screen by myself. There is a youtube video that should help me replace the screen. Any websites that one would suggestion on where to buy a new screen? I have a Sony Vaio VPCEH25FM 15.5 Glossy screen.

    Thanks for the help!

First off Yutub is good but find a online sight that has documented step by step that you can read or print out. Youtub is good but for experienced users only for references not particular good for first time repair attempts. I would look on eBay to see what screen are available and also check with Sony site to get a actual part number and cross that with eBay to find a matching replacement part. I would only go with Sony as last resort but they are a good place to start to get the right part number to look for. Also when you read enough on how to dissemble the LCD and once you taken it apart look at the stickers on the back of it and that should also give you a part number that you can use to look for replacement part.

use a utility like HWiNFO to see if you can retrieve the panel's model/part number that way, and then we can help you shop for a replacement. there's a few sites out there, plus ebay like StormJumper mentioned.
