Hello,
My T60 15.4" WSXGA is behaving erratically. 3/4 of the bottom half of the screen would turn white. I opened up the laptop - and discovered that the problem was with the pressure contacts on the left of the screen. This is something I could not fix.
I want to replace my screen - a WSXGA with a WUXGA.
Is a WUXGA screen compatible with a T60 that originally had a WSXGA?
Can I buy the LCD from Lenovo?
Thanks!

Is your notebook still under warranty? Lenovo will ship you a need WSXGA LCD for free. If not, I'd still give Lenovo a call, and see what they can do for you.

I can't tell what's going on in that second image lol

If it's not led backlit you can probably find a new panel on ebay.

[It's worth spending some more money and getting a better quality screen. ]
I can order a WUXGA on Ebay, but if it does not work there is a 20% restocking fee. -
look make sure the computer will support it, otherwise you will get another 300+ bucks invested in another screen

Why don't you post your question on this site. I think you will get a definitive answer there are there are people who have swapped out screens and have more experience with it. I think there is a guy who swapped out a screen on his old R series machine with a WQXGA screen!
