I just replaced my dead inspiron 600 lcd with a new LG LCD, but have a strange problem. Using either the bios or the fn-arrow keys to brighten the screen it dims it and vice versa. Maybe the new LG screen is oposite the old Samsung. Anyone know why this would be happening?

It works and looks great but its strange.

You may need to install drivers for the new screen maybe?

It does it even in the bios so I believe it is below OS drivers.
