    hey fellas!

i'm looking for a replacement wireless card for my dv2000t (currently running the pre-installed intel 3945 a/b/g card) and was wondering if this would work?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Apple-AR5BXB6-MacBook-Wireless-Card_W0QQitemZ110305286983QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item110305286983&_trkparms=72%3A1209|39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A12|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

for those of you who noticed, yes it is a card originally made for a mac. i'm experimenting :) just need to know if it will physically fit and be powered on with no modifications needed. thanks!

Probably not, because HP Blacklist another cards if you change the wifi card at boot you get a error 104 message "Error Network Card is not supported" or similar, better idea is buy a Broadcom BCM4311 Wireless Card (for hp of course), this card is recognized by the OS as Airport Extreme.

The Broadcom BCM4321 802.11a/b/g/n for HP cards on eBay work. I just upgraded my HP DV9917cl with one last week and only set me back $22 shipped (from Hong Kong). I knew all about the HP BIOS whitelist but figured I'd chance it for how inexpensive it was.
