The back arrow key on my Sony VAIO FS recently decided to stop working.

I thought at first it could be a software error causing the problem because originally it stopped working and after restarting my system and it worked again.

Shortly after the problem came back and now I haven't been able to use it since.

I'm curious are there any software apps out there to test the key to see if it's broken or some other problem?

Like some kind of keyboard troubling shooting diagnostic tool...if it exists i'm sure someone here knows.

    Thanks for the reply.

Yup, it appears to be broken. I found used FS replacements on ebay for about $50.

That's half what it costs if you bought it new.

Forget about sending it to Sony, they want something like $300 since it's past the warrenty.
