    Hi guys
im replacing my hardrive on my dell 7520
the previous hardrive which crashed was a 2.5mm seagate and im wondering if i can replace it with this WD 1TB 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive
    - Caviar Blue
as you can see its 3.5mm does this matter? are any connections needed to make it work or should it work right away?
I know this is a noob question but i want to be sure before i order
also the 7520 i have came with standard 1368x768 screen there are screens out there for the 7520 that are full hd 1920x1080 is it ok to replace my screen with the higher res one thanks
specs are i5 with dedicated graphic - radeon 7730m
    thanks

No way you're getting the 3.5 inch drive in there. Get a notebook (2.5") drive.

    Hey, Jamie!

WD Caviar Blue is a great choice for your notebook.
I have to agree with Alex, though, and warn you that there's no way you can put a 3.5 inch desktop drive INSIDE a laptop.
However, there are WD Caviar Blue 1TB drives that are 2.5 inch, specifically designed and recommended for use in notebooks. You can check them out here:
    WD Blue

As for the screen replacement, I think it might work, but I'd advice to check with the Dell support for it.
I think you will find this useful:

    Hope this helps! :)

I would personally recommend the 1 TB Hitachi (HSGT) Travelstar 7K 1000 7200rpm hard drive.. Its unmatched in performance and is really quiet compared to similar drives...
