Well it turns out I was cleaning my Asus G60vx and I went full retard and cleaned it with the battery connected, while I was cleaning it my magnetic screw driver failed me and a screw dropped on the board which cause a spark and a burnt smell. I'm lucky enough that the laptop turns on but now the Battery and AC connection keeps changing again and again while I have my battery connected. since I'm pretty sure that the board is the problem after I made this mistake I'm thinking of buying a new board on ebay and installing it on my G60vx. I'm interested in installing the Q9000 on it since most games are hyperthreaded now days and dual cores are very behind if my laptop had the board A12 which does not support Q9000 can I install a new board that does support Q9000 on it just fine? I'm not sure which board supports Q9000 since I can't read the serials very well due to lack of experience I have never replaced a motherboard, but I'm sure it is not that hard just have to be patient and I can go based on how everything on my old board was connected.

Like would this board support the q9000 since people tell me that A01 board can but I can't tell if that is even an A01 board due to the naming being so complex.

more so would that revision work on my laptops vessel including all the peripherals and stuff ?

    thanks in advance.

this might be the model that supports Q9000 I'm not sure but the name ends in 01 so someone confirm this please.
