Does anyone have any experience with this company: Laptop Batteries & Laptop AC Adapters at global-laptop-batteries.com

I ask because I am trying to purchase a 6-cell battery for my Samsung Princeton (11.6" model number: NP300U1A). I found out from Samsung that the part number for the 6-cell battery is AA-PLOTC6A and searched the internet for the part and found this thread:

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/sam...11-6-i3-np300u1a-anyone-else-have-one-17.html

Participants noted the part number but I couldn't find the part anywhere. I ended up finding the website above and searched for that part number and nothing came up so I contacted them (per their search results) and asked them if they might sell it. I received a reply a few hours later, which said they carried the battery and Voila! there was even a web page for it. I can assure you that this web page didn't exist before and it's a bit suspicious because the image is for the 4-cell battery and not the part in question when you zoom in on it.

Giving the company the benefit of the doubt, they may in fact carry the battery and just haven't loaded it but I wanted to check with anyone here who might have information about them.

If you don't know one way or the other, I am going crazy finding Samsung parts. Even the site that Samsung directs customers to doesn't have the part number so I have no idea how to find it otherwise.

I don't know about Samsung, but I bought my Dell battery from Amazon. Try checking there. And just get the battery model from your current battery, and search with that.

I wouldn't trust that website. You could try buying something small from them and seeing if they're legit. if that transaction goes okay then you'll probably be fine on the battery.

I have ordered from them before. They sell generic-branded batteries, not original OEM batteries. This is why they are so much cheaper than buying original OEM batteries.

The battery I bought did not perfectly fit my laptop at first (the plastic tabs were mis-aligned a bit). Once I filed down some of the plastic tabs on the battery, it fit and worked fine. I used their battery for about 15 months, after the main OEM battery that came with my laptop died after 2 years of use. My laptop was already 2 years old at that point, and I didn't really care about the risk that some cheap no-name knock off battery would kill my laptop.

In short, you get what you pay for. If you want a cheap slightly imperfect battery that will probably work just fine, go for it. But if you want an absolute 100% guarantee that you're buying a genuine OEM battery that will absolutely work without problems and not risk damaging your laptop, then spend the extra money to buy a Samsung OEM battery.
