I have a IBM T-22 with a old battery. I read somewhere about diffent tricks to restore some of the life back into the battery. Anybody know any of these tricks. Try to do a search but when you put battery in search you get all kind of results.

Read the "reviving batteries" section, it gives you a link to bootable CD image with IBM's diagnostic program. If you don't have the CD drive in your laptop, here's a floppy version:

Thanks I read it when I get home from work.

The rundown test did not do me any good. Anybody else have any ideals to help battery life in a old battery. Still getting around 1.5 hour per charge surfing the web.

I also have a T22 that gets about 30 minutes of battery life surfing the web. This would be very helpful for me also.

I know ,seen your t-22 thread. How did you make out with your harddrive replacement. I left a post on it telling you where to go on Lenovo.com
