I want to order 2 16 GB sticks of this:

    CT32G4SFD832A Corsair

And my laptop already has 2 16GB sticks of

    khx3200c20s4 Kingston

    Will these play nice?

I'm a bit confused here - does your laptop have 4 slots, and you are asking what happens if you run two pairs of different RAM?

Yes, I am asking if the results of running these two different brands of RAM will be bad. They have different "latency" values and I have heard it could negatively impact performance. But, like how?

It will run your ram at the highest timings and lowest speeds of the sticks (both of those are bad but not probably noticeable) and it should work fine.

So both are 3200 Mhz and one has 33 no latency and the other has 28. So you are saying they will be running at 3200 Mhz with 33?

When you say these are bad, what do you mean?

    Thanks

    It's not bad it's just sub-optimal.

unless they are the same speed you have match the specs to get the performance from the RAM otherwise it will go at the lowest speeds for RAM.

I would be curious how this plays out with subtimings and chip characteristics.
