Hi I've an old S58GP model.. just curious to know,..
    what lcd maker is it?
because the most I can dig out is MS_0040 .
it's either it's hiding the info or something.. I've tried everest and powermatic and they also tell the same thing :(

I believe the MS_0040 just means your computer is powered by a GeForce Go 6200. Try running CPU-Z and it should at least tell you the lcd model which you can google.

cpu-z doesn't tell me anything too...
I tried everest ultimate beta.. well at least it shows me the date of manufacture back to 2002(which could be possible since it follows from the S18GP series).Still I can't work around it.. probably it's hidden by the bios or something??
heck, I can't even see my mobo manufacturer, it just covers it up with the word dmi :(
