Hey, i need a bit of advice please. the rugby world cup is starting in 25 minutes and i can watch it from my computer but we are having ppl over to watch it, so we are hooking it up to the TV.

I have an s-video cable and my tv acknowledges that the s-video is hooked up, but it doesn't show my computer screen. what else do i need to do?

    ANY help is greatly appreciated!

    THANKS!

also, in the TV manual, it says that to hook up a computer i need a VGA cable....but i know ppl use s-videos. thanks!

you most likely need to adjust your display settings. right click on your desktop, go to properties > settings > change the drop down menu to whatever setting you need it to be.
