I just purchased my new Fujitsu S2110 and am wondering, what type of ram do I need? I looked on crucial and they didn't have the model. Do you think i need to upgrade the 60 gig 4200 hard drive? What do you think about getting generic batteries? Thanks!

This was my thread couple of weeks ago, you can see the exact two upgrade components I got for my new S2110:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=31990

    Corsair ValueSelect 512MB 200-pin DDR PC2700
    Hitachi 5K100 60GB 5400 RPM

I just shipped the Hitachi drive back to Newegg for an RMA because it was making weird noises and the S2110 never recognized it but not sure what will happen since they don't seem to have it in stock.

You will need ATA-6 - also known as Ultra ATA/100. Serial ATA is on very few notebooks.
