    Hey guys,

My new sony vaio will be coming in next week along with a crucial m4.
however, i was wondering if i could make the hdd that came with the laptop to an external hdd by using an SATA III to usb 3.0 cable(if there is one)

    thanks in advance,
    junkie

The port the hard drive is connected to is SATA III, but the drive itself is not. Any 2.5-inch SATA to USB 3.0 enclosure should work just fine.
