    SATA connector for HP dv2000

    Looking for one, can't find one without a caddy. I just need the connector. the exact model is a dv2125nr

    I don't understand the question...

    The Serial ATA connector should be built into the hard drive which then is put into a caddy and then slide into the notebook and into the Serial ATA connector on the motherboard...

    If you broke the Serial ATA connector on the Hard Drive or Motherboard seems like you'll have to suck it up and buy a new part... Or am I missing something?

    Interesting.... I'd have to see that setup in pics that includes the drive as there has to be some connecton the drive :|

    But you will probably have to buy one with the caddy...
