Hello! So I just got a laptop with an ssd and I am trying to make sure I take care of it and improve its lifespan so I had a question...

due to lack of space I was thinking about uploading all my music/ listening to my music on the cloud but I read that a lot of sites like icloud and Pandora don't actually stream but instead cache your music onto your computer.

Would this be bad for an ssd because of the read/ write limits? Should I instead only stick with stream/ music on my ssd?

Any advice would be very much appreciated!

Unless you're using your SSD at 70% capacity (or above) I wouldn't worry about the effect on the SSD.

Uploading your music to the 'cloud' though is horrifying to me (I want my data (any data - even media) available and secure 100% of the time).
