I'm looking at Newegg...
Here are some that have decent-high reviews. Which one should I get?

Of course, feel free to suggest others

Or should I just get the factory installed SSD that comes with the T420?
-
Personally I'd stay away from OCZ. Too many issues with Sandforce controllers still. And OCZ refuses to acknowledge most of them. Any of those others are great drives though.

Check out the Crucial M4, the successor to the C300 you listed. The Samsung 470 is a good option as well. If you're on a budget, the Kingston V+100 series drives have a very low cost per GB (especially if you find them on sale).

The 96GB Kingston V+100 was on sale on Newegg for $100 a few days ago, but is now $140. Still a good price.
Anywho, I'd recommend that, or the M4, 470, or the Intel 320 (or 80GB 310 series or MydigitalSSD mSATA if you want to keep your hard drive). madmattd is right in that you should stay away from Sandforce-based drives (knocking out OCZ altogether, basically). -
Samsung 470 SSD,,Amazon has them too, new of course.

Lenovo has been using two brand of SSD in their notebooks, namely Intel (G1 and G2), Samsung (MLC: PM800 & PM810 and SLC.) So you would have maximum chance of compatibility with these two. They even provide customized firmware for these.
Otherwise, prepare to see the infamous HDD error 2100 -
Consider using an mSATA SSD in the WWAN slot of your ThinkPad T420; then you can have a hard drive as a second drive for storage capacity, with the mSATA SSD being your boot drive.
