I am looking just for a cheap SSD around $100-150, I will put it in the main and move the stock hard drive to the optical drive and just have an external optical drive. What do you guys recommend?

get a 64gig crucial c300. os and your main apps on it. ~$140 right now but i venture you can shop or wait around and find one for ~$125 or less soon.

shouldn't be hard. make sure your apps don't max out or you might want to look at 80/120 gig ssd's but then that will be out of your budget.

    The 96GB Kingston V+ 100 is a good choice.

The Crucial M4 64GB is a bit faster.
