    Hi all,

I am a victim of an NI salesman. He has sold me an excellent PXI controller but for all its worth it is bottlenecked by a unreliable harddrive.

For my data logging I need to be able to write to a harddrive at 32MB/s continously for about 3minutes without any dropouts, and I need to be able to do this several times in a row with a couple of minutes break between each log. The system only has a PATA connection and can fit a 2.5" harddrive.

Can anybody recommend a solid state PATA harddrive that can cater for these write speeds reliably?

Any help would be really appreciated,

    Matt
