    One question

Can the SSD memory be removed (like a hard disk) in the event of a notebook failure and use it on another notebook or use it as an external storage?

    Thanks

As external storage, definitely. Putting it into another notebook...well, the OS is almost guaranteed not to boot.

The OS can still boot (might need to rewrite the master boot record)... your drivers simply wont be good.

Yeah... including the disk controller drivers... which are needed for booting.

Needless to say most of the time you get a bluescreen.

It is possible to get it ready beforehand using sysprep, but that assumes the original machine's working. Dunno if there's an easy way to do it after the fact.
