    Hi all,
    I'm currently setting up my upgrades (5870, SSD etc.) and at the moment I am trying to set up the OS on my SSD. I know I can do a clean install but I am determined to get the alienware recovery working. I have tried everything but I keep getting the same problem, I need a hard drive at least 298GB in size and my SSD is only 80GB. I have tried wintoflash as someone said it worked but I can't get it to work, I've cloned the 320GB hard drive onto the SSD and made a recovery disk but it still asks for a 298GB hard drive. Please if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated.

    Phone up Alienware - i.e. Dell?

    It seems pretty daft that a recovery disc needs a 300GB HDD - and that's how I understand you?
