    HI,

I had bought the BU400A and it comes with the 2.5" 500GB SATA HDD. It also has a mini SSD slot but I am not sure what size of SSD I should look for.

Please refer to the picture below and advise. Thanks.

A little more info, please. Are you referring to what size GB SSD to get or you can't decide between 2.5" SSD or mSATA SSD?

    Dear all,

Sorry for the lack of details.

I am going to retain the 2.5" 500GB SATA HDD. Besides that, there is a mSATA slot which I shown in the picture.

Now, I am not sure which mSATA type I should look for that fits to my ultrabook as there are various sizes, eg; m.2 with 80mm, m.2 with 50mm and so on....

The reason I open the discussion here is because I had bought the wrong mSATA.

The module is a bit larger...

    Okay, now I know I need the "mSATA (MO-300A) 51 x 30 x 0.8mm" module or the Mini PCIe form factor(50.8x29.8mm).

M.2 or NGFF won't be into my consideration now.

Thx to Bullrun for clarification. Much appreciated.

Oops! That is the regular mSATA in your pic. 51x30mm

    You might need the mSATA-mini (MO-300A) 26.8 x 30.0 x 3.4mm It's just over half as long.

Here's a link with different modules for reference.
