My laptop HDD was upgraded to SSD. I have the OEM Recovery Disks to set laptop back with all factory software in it's sold state (Windows 7, software, etc.). Will the OEM Recovery Disks run only on the original HDD or should they work on the SSD also?

While I generally agree with @tilleroftheearth, turning off pagefile is still a great tweak if you've got enough RAM.

I agree that some of those tweaks can be avoided, but since the op is using W7, there are certain steps like turning off defrag should be done with an ssd.
I usually turn off defrag, disable hibernation, and disable the page file with W7. I also don't use system restore so I disable that as well.Starlight5 likes this.
