    Hello,
    I just purchased a HyperX 120GB from Newegg and installed it in my Sony SA290 laptop. I downloaded and ran AS SSD and got these speeds and would like to know if they're "good" as I do not know what the tiers for each of these categories for speed are.

    The 'scores' look 'good enough'.

    What are your impressions? Did you upgrade this system from a HDD?

    Is there anything you're missing (like capacity)?

    Does the drive pause/stutter?

    What are your normal workloads?

    What are the specs of your system?

    Doing a simple google search if all you want are other 'scores' to compare to is highly recommended. ;)

    OP`s score looks normal although that 4K is a bit low.

    There is nothing wrong.SSD on the reviews are tested on desktop,wich is more powerfull and the result are higher

    lol are you saying that notebooks get almost 100MB/s less write speed, 50MB/s less with 4K-64Ks and around 50MB/s in 4Ks? The writes on your SSDs are wrong mate.

    I don`t believe you. Either you had the SSD doing something else while running the test, or something is wrong. Even kennytran (the same person who made this thread) got his NOTEBOOK up to the speed I posted. Notebooks have the same interface as desktops (SATA III).

    good luck with boosting your ssd to 90mb 4k writes.If you cant than your ssd also have a problem.
