Ok.. I'm getting rather tired of browsing through so many pages of the same thread so I just want to ask this straight forward question here (and may be of help to others who're in the same shoes).

What do I have to tweak when I installed my SSD? I'm using Vista. I've read things like turning off file paging (how to do this actually?), turning off defragmentation, etc.

Can someone make it easy by listing the things to change and where to change them?

    Thanks heaps :)

turn of defrag, let the rest stay. the rest changes os behaviour, often to the worse.

jup, even tested out some for fun (like disabling prefetch).

just disable defrag and have fun with it's great outofthebox performance.

No. Don't do it at all.
