The fastest is the Vertex 3 MAXIO. It is NOT the most reliable SSD as you can read in the Newegg reviews.

If you want something fast that's also reliable I suggest the Crucial M4 128GB.

You should check out Intel 510 OP. Lots of good reviews and newegg customers are very pleased with it. Cost $300 for 120GB.

Or the Crucial M4 Phil linked you to.

    Amazon have the 128GB M4 for $240 http://www.amazon.com/Crucial-2-5-Inch-Solid-State-CT128M4SSD2/dp/B004W2JKZI/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1305489835&sr=1-1

FYP. 40% with bad reviews. Holy cow
And M4 with 10 reviews everyone given it 5/5 so far

I ll jump in with fast question —

SSD OCZ Vertex 2 SSD 120GB 2.5" SATAII MLC
    or
    SSD Crucial RealSSD C300 128GB 2.5" SATA I ( sata 1 - mistake?) MLC
    or
    Kingston V + Series SNVP325-S2B/128GB

with reliability in mind that is.

Crucial and Kingston V+ are way more reliable than Vertex 2.

Crucial C300 usually is SATA III. (there are some SATA II models too)

Crucial M4 can be a good deal.
