Bought it from xoticpc. I used the laptop without any issues with the keyboard. I then connected it to an external monitor and using my own wired keyboard. Thus using a usb port and connect my wired keyboard to it. I then disconnected my keyboard and monitor so i could use laptop by itself.
Right now most of the keys on the right side of keyboard doesn't work. J, k, l, u, i , o, p, n, m doesn't work. Enter button works however.
Does anyone know what this is happening?
So the letter i right now when i press it... its like the left click mouse pad clicking button. U, o, p, j, k, l, m doesn't work. The other keys however like enter, backspace works.
Why would the letter i function as a mousepad button left click?

Okay i found out the reason. I have the numbers lock key on... on my external keyboard. Once i turned it off, then there was no issue with it.
However there is something very strange here. Example even if i leave the number lock on and then take the keyboard out of my laptop... none of those buttons i mention work. And of course the BUTTON i when i click on it acts as a left click mousepad. Can someone explain why this is the case? Thus the only way to fix this issue is i have to turn off the number lock on my external keyboard, then pull keyboard out of my laptop. Then it would work.
Another thing that i dont get is this. When i have the number lock on or off when its connected to the monitor... the keypad with the numbers never work. I have to use the numbers on top of the letters. Is there a reason for this?
Also has anyone heard of this before? Also every time i turn on or turn off the number lock on the external keyboard while connected to sager laptop, theres a beep sound that shows on and o -
Okay so i found out that i had mouse keys turned on... and i had to turn it off to get my keypad on my external keyboard to work. First off, what is this as i never had anything like that with my asus laptop. What kind of option is this?
Also when i have the external keyboard work fully by putting NO for mousekeys... then the right side of my laptop keyboard such as letters O, P types the keybad numbers such as 5 and 6. Is this normal?
I never seen something like this other laptops.
