Does anyone know if its possible to change the CPU on the Sager NP5793 as easily as it is to change it on the gateway p series. Is it a socket cpu and if so can someone post instructions on how to do this. This is all that is holding me back from getting this machine.

Well, you can upgrade your processor in your laptop, but you will probably have to take a good portion of your system apart to do so. I am not familiar with taking apart either of the systems, but the Sager is a Clevo rebrand, so it should not be that difficult to take apart. Clevo usually makes user upgrades pretty easy, so it should not be that bad.
Just document where the screws go, and it will be pretty easy to change processors.
