I'm planning to buy a Sager NP7358 from xotic pc with these upgrades:

    1) Screen: 15.6" FHD 95% NTSC Color Gamut ( + 35 )
    2) CPU: Intel Core™ i7-4810MQ ( + 35 )
    3) Wireless Card: Intel Dual Band AC 7260 ( + 35 )

Everything else is by default. Do you think these upgrades are worth the extra money?
Any other recommended upgrades? (I can spend more if it's worth it)

Btw, I chose xotic pc because I love their live chat feature. I'm also a college student. How can I take advantage of that (or any other means) to reduce the price further?

Its ok.. I think you should spend a bit more and get a laptop with 870M/880M as you can upgrade the GPU in them.. In this one, its soldered to motherboard...

I think replacing GPU is expensive, and it's better to buy a new laptop, isn't it?

I have one and I can tell you that 4810mq is quite a waste of money on W350SS.

While it does okay in Passmark and appears faster than i5-3750k at 4.2GHz, it's doing very badly under stress test and temperature is just too high.

    Original XTU benchmark: 5XX
    XTU after power-up to 65W/85A: 720~730 (temperature max 95C)
    XTU after power-up to 60W/80A and underclock 3.6GHz/undervoltage -100mV: 699 (temperature max 85C)

After I replaced the thermal paste with Cooler Master Extreme Fusion X1 and locked the fan at 100% (4000+RPM from 2000+ by default), it can score 750, temperature below 80 but still fail to keep 3.8GHz at 4 cores, while old i7-4700mq can keep at its max 3.4GHz at 4 cores forever.

The max XTU score of this CPU on HWBOT is 795, achieved on Clevo P17SM-A, not too impressive either, considering it allows max 4.2GHz at all 4 cores.

The replaceable 800s are Kelper GPUs, while the soldered 800s are Maxwell.

For example, the replaceable 860M is a Kepler, while the soldered version is Maxwell.

And a 860M Maxwell is going to be a lot easier to cool and OC than the Kepler version.
