So I need to upgrade my motherboard (Sager np9261) so I can use the new geforce video cards (the 8800s) but apparently (I emailed xoticpc.com) and asked if I could just purchase a new motherboard from them and install it myself because, man, it costs SO much to send the whole laptop away, and then have to pay for parts and labour.... I just want a new motherboard shipped to me and I can put it in myself.

Apparently I can't though, they don't ship motherboards.

Does anyone know if I can get a new motherboard for a Sager NP9261 without having to send my laptop away? lol

Any help would be great, thanks!

Also, I'm sorry if this message is a little garbly, I have been drinking, lol

Just another thing though... after all this griping, I don't even know what motherboard I am actually looking for... lol I just figured I'd have to send it away to Sager and they'd do it all.

So if I'm using an NP9261, what motherboard would I be looking for if I wanted to use the GeForce 8800s?

    Thanks again for any help!

Thanks again! I keep getting confused with my model number, it's a D901C, not D900C because the case is black. The D900C has a blue case. Same computer though.
