I'm trying to decide between these two drives. I can get the Intel 320 160GB for $200 and the Samsung for around $350 but I'm pretty sure I will need the extra space. Is $350 a good amount to spend on a 256GB SSD?

Seems a good price, Samsung 470 is among the best SSD for Sata II, i would avoid Intel 320 until they release/fix the data loss firmware bug.

Crucial C300 might be worth a look to. Little faster than Samsung 470. Uses more power though.

Samsung 470 is one of the most reliable SSDs.
