Yeah considering it runs above QX9300 speeds at the floor voltage for Quad cores I was happy.

Also the 5730s you sell are excellent companions for any Acer MXM equiped laptop.

Is this memory dual channel, and is it better than HyperX at the same speeds? I am debating getting this over the new HyperX PnP.

All pairs of memory will be dual channel. And for performance, you won't notice any difference in real life situations between any DDR3 memory, except in benchmarks and gaming on integrated graphics only.

If I'm not mistaken, Kingston Hyperx 1600 (standard and plug-n-play) both are better. That's not even bringing in Kingston Hyperx 1866 (plug n play)

G.skill makes some lower latency 1600mhz sticks as well, and they're pretty cheap.

Nifty. I'm way too cheap to ever buy a Core i7-based notebook, but it's good to know there's RAM available to take full advantage.

I found it funny that my Samsung laptop (Series 3) has some brand of RAM I've never heard of, but the Toshiba Satellite I owned briefly had....Samsung RAM modules. Go figure.
