    Hi all,

I ordered a Samsung 830 for my T430s, but I ordered just the drive, not the installation kit :-S

Is it OK to use the rubber stuff from the old HDD, or the spacers are absolutely required? If they are required, where would be the best place to get just the spacers?

    Thanks

Use the rubber sliders off of the old hard drive. (Along with the bracket from the hard drive you take out.) You don't need any spacers as the Samsung 830 is 7mm high and the T430s only accepts 7mm hard drives and SSD's.
