    There is 64gb and 128gb available already with other sizes arriving on 31Oct2011. The 128gb was $200 without shipping but newegg changed it to $229.99 free shipping. How can shipping cost $30 ??

    512gb for $849 is ridiculous, would rather get 2x 256gb and raid0 them.
    $500 for 512gb is more reasonable. They seriously need to work on pricing.

    One of the fastest standard SSDs on the market - CNET say what ??

    Wait some time for prices to stabilize. Newegg definitely will price them higher for the early adopters who are willing to pay for it.

    You can find them for literally at most $25-$50 cheaper on eBay than the lowest marketed price by a seller like Newegg. It'll be really expensive at the moment but I am certain you'll find it for cheaper on eBay, especially if you live in the US. Most of the drives are shipped for free or the regular price is reduced to the point where paying $15 shipping rate is more than manageable.
