    Samsung 840 Basic 600TB till now

    Hey guys ,did you see this article:
    The SSD Endurance Experiment: Data retention after 600TB - The Tech Report - Page 2
    They are testing endurance of six SSD.
    840 Basic have 600Tb and still going.
    And Samsung 840 Pro seems like its not going to cache his predecessor 830 with 6000Tb.
    Probable the test are not completely the same as those on xtremesystems but they are not so much different so comparison of 840 pro endurance and 830 would still be fair.
    So please comment.

    I imagine my SSD's will never even reach 100TB of wear, so It's great to see these tests and know that SSD's are so reliable these days.

    endurance don't really correlate well with reliability ~

    True, true. Could use reliable NAND with massive endurance, and pair it with a SandForce controller ;).
