    Hey guys,

I was looking into the Samsung 840 Pro 128GB. I know that it has a 5 year warranty, but is this valid no matter where I buy it from?

It's being sold for $130 at B&H below. If I buy it from there, will I be able to ship it to Samsung if it breaks for a replacement/repair?

I remember I had to register my warranty at the Samsung website.

It also gave me an additional 3 month warranty extension so its 36+3 months for my 830.

    Hope it helps.

I called up Samsung. They offer a 5 year warranty as long as you're buying from an authorized seller. I hope this helps anyone else looking into this.
