    I'm going to buy a SSD. I'll need +400Gb.

I can get the Mushkin Enhanced Chronos 480GB for 286,44€

    or the

    Samsung SSD 840 Series 500GB for 277,40€

    which one is better?

Well, considering that Samsung has a solid track record, and has more capacity, and is cheaper, I'd go for the Samsung hands-down.

    yes but,
samsung 840 uses TLC nand and Mushkin uses MLC nand.
samsung has 540Mb/s read 330M/b write and Mushkin has 560Mb/s read 525Mb/s write.

    I also found a deal on a Crucial M4 512Gb for 286,62€ that I might consider.

Probably won't even notice the differences in seq read/write (a SSD's "snappiness" is mainly related to random access times).

You brought up a valid point about TLC vs MLC. Back when MLC was introduced, there was a relatively big uproar about it, like with TLC now, but it turns out the MLC is reliable enough for most end-users. Might turn out the TLC will be same, maybe not, but I can't say since TLC hasn't been out for awhile.
