I am planning to buy a ram for my new laptop computer which uses AMD Trinity APU.
As some people know, those apu greatly benefit to high bandwidth which could be achieve by using dual channel memory that has either tigh timing or high clocks.
I am thinking of purchasing the Samsung 30nm ram due to its high overclocking potential and low heat/power consumption.
The desktop version of it has been widely recognized as a beast of overclocker.
When I looked at reviews specifically for the SO-DIMM version of it, I haven't found any actual overclocking result other than testimony of people.
My plan is to get the ram and tighten its timings through the program called AMD Overdrive.
I also think of purchasing a program called thaiphoon burner in the future so because I am thinking of manually setting the voltage of the ram to1.5v and set the timmings to cl9 or even as low as cl7 if the computer could recognize it.
I also heard that DDR3L supports 1.25v ram and the trinity apu happens to support DDR3L but I have yet to see anyone actually put that into test.
What I am looking for right now is the actual overclocing results of the Samsung Green DDR3 SO-DIMM so I would have some idea of the actual potential of it.

Both the SODIMM and DIMM are using the same K4D chips, so theoretically should perform similarly.

I guarantee you the Samsung chips are a real beast of an overclocker.
Since my w110er BIOS specifically supports RAM overclock.
I can get 2133mhz 12-12-12-31-2T max.
Some W110er owners ( I know HTWingnut got this) can get 11-11-11-28-2T. I find it heats up a little more than I would like so I keep it at 1866mhz 10-10-10-28-1T for everyday operation.
I've also tested that 1600mhz 9-9-9-28-2T is also stable with 2 memtest passes.
I'll post the CPU-z validation
2133mhz
1866
Actually, I think most desktop reviewers noted that this chip performs best at its stock voltage and not much headroom was gained from increasing voltage.
