Does anyone know if the Samsung HM160JI has a temperature sensor? I can't seem to find this info online...

I am using I8KFanGui, but the read HDD temp section is grayed out. I'd like to be able to monitor all temperatures.....

    Thanks for any info! :)

The HM 160JI definitely has a temperature sensor: Mine is currently at 30C.

If you are running XP then MobileMeter should read the HDD temperature. Or you can use SiSoftware Sandra.

If none of these can read the SMART data, is there an option in the BIOS to enable monitoring of SMART data (perhaps check here first).
