I have the latest version of Magician, the latest FW on the drive but it keeps popping up saying there is an update. Anybody else seeing this on there 470?
-
Yes... I am getting it as well. Did you ever figure out a solution?
I am trying to chat with Samsung now to see how to turn it off. -
Let us know if you ever get a solution. I have no idea what triggers it, I can't seem to find a pattern to it.

Guys does the message indicate a need to update the firmware or the program itself?
In either case have you checked win 7 task scheduler? -
I am running the latest FW and 3.0 version of Magician. I figure it's just an error in the program.

Mine also started doing this last week but there actually was an update to SSD Magician 3.2. Today, I restarted and got the popup again that there is an update but I've searched and can't find anything anywhere. Did anyone here ever get an answer from Samsung?

I also have the latest version installed 3.2 and the latest F.W for my 830 but still it pops up that there is an update, when there is nowhere to be found.

Same message for me. I'm running Magician 3.2; funny thing is I didn't get the update message until after I updated to 3.2, now it won't stop!!!
Checked task scheduler, and there's nothing in there. -
its a bug in the latest 3.2.
lets hope samsung will fix it -

Yeah, I get it also, when you click on the popup it takes you to a Samsung webpage but it is a dead link.
