    Oops, Guru3D removed the driver. I think Samsung caught the leak and warned them.

    I don't have that SSD so I don't know.

    Best thing to do, is benchmark using SSD while your system is idle. Then take a screenshot of the score

    Next, install the new driver then reboot, let your system idle for a good while, then run the benchmark and compare the results

    I know the older driver worked with the SM951 so I can't see how this won't work with SM961/PM961.. Give it a shot!

    Yeah and we're in an age of Fibre Optic super high speed internet, and one puts a limit for downloads? I don't get it, what do they think people are just keeping their busy for the heck of it? it's just a few MB worth of a download for God's sake. Clevo seems to be stuck up in the age of dial up @56k with the speeds we get and a lot of times, one guy would post updated driver versions, but when you download the file after a few hours, you are surprised to see that it's still the older version!! ohhh because the person responsible for their FTP server is too lazy to update the actual files so you have to wait for another week and keep trying to download for days to see if you got lucky and have the latest file.

    Try this, download SBX v1.01.21 from here and install it, then tell me what version it installs, it would install .18 :rolleyes: Been like this for more than a week

    @clevo-extreme

    As great as your systems are, your drivers team needs to be fired! As much as I hate Dell and ASUS, at least they give their customers proper driver downloads :rolleyes:

    I did finally get the Samsung NVME driver 2.0 downloaded. I just get a message that there is no NVME drive installed. It doesn't recognize the PM961, which is the ONLY drive on the laptop. I'll post benchmark results later, but something looks fishy and I was hoping a driver would fix it.

    Thanks, I was able to download the driver file and run it, but I don't have a Samsung NVME Controller under Storage Controllers in Device Manager to update. Odd, since the PM961 is the ONLY drive in my laptop. I've left a more detailed question in the discussion you linked.

    I was able to figure out how to get the Samsung driver installed. Short answer, change from RAID to AHCI n BIOS. For detailed instructions and benchmark results before and after, see my post in the Samsung SM961 NVME Driver discussion linked above, at the bottom of page 4.
