    Hi,

I have a first gen samsung rbx 128gb. Works great and doing some benchmarks to see what effect long term use has.

Most benchmarks make sense, 100MB read, 80MB write with uber fast seek time.

One curious result is the rate at which the 512k write reduces, at 50mb it does 70mb/sec. At 1gb file size the 512k goes down to 8mb/sec.

Any ideas on why the 512k is so much slower than the sequential.

    Thanks.

That's perfectly normal. Random R/W and low file sizes will always be much slower than sequential R/W. Check out screen shots of other SSDs and HDDs. Most HDDs are way below 1 MB/s.
