    Hi guys,

I recently order one of these from Newegg and put it in my Macbook Pro 13. I loaded OS X using the disks that came with the laptop. Now whenever I come out of sleep, the desktop comes up, but its basically frozen for about 15 seconds. When I try to click on something, it just comes up with the spinning wheel. I also noticed that when I tried to boot into Windows 7(which was working perfect last night) it comes up with the folder with a question mark.

    Is it faulty or what?

Open Disk Utility with Spotlight and check the SMART attributes of the drive. If everything checks out, try verifying the disk and the permissions.

Have you tried verifying the disc image? Booting from the OS X disc can repair corrupt files in the OS. Also you could try reinstalling OS X

Was a known good drive acting normally beforehand? Just asking cause it could have saved you a couple headaches.
