I already have the driver (since it works just fine with my notebook? Also it gets detected as samsung syncmaster bx2250). And the Adobe.icc is the standard .icc.. so using that one won't change anything :/

By re-installing the driver you may get any icc profiles the manufacturer includes (and you may have deleted).

Using a standard ICC profile doesn't mean that nothing will change - you have to try it to see. ;)

U are right, it installed a color profile.. but its the same as the default & adobe one :p

I found a icc file of the Samsung 2233RZ.. it looks a bit better with it but still far from "perfect". It needs more brightness I think. Is there some program to adjust color profiles?

    Thanks

I have some other laptop with a perfectly fine calibrated screen. So I thought I would open the same image on both laptops/screens and try to get my Samsung to the same look as the already calibrated screen/laptop.

Hardware calibrating is too expensive and I don't know anyone who could borrow it to me :/
