This is a new SATA III drive from SanDisk with the SandForce 2281 controller.

Where this series shines over most of the competiton is in the use of Toshiba 24nm Toggle NAND memory.

We all heard about the performance and endurance of the SSDs that use the Toshiba 32nm Toggle NAND as in OCZ Vertex 3 MAX IOPS,Patriot Wildfire and OWC Extreme.

The memory is what mostly sets SSDs apart. It's the fuel that powers the engine(controller) while the firmware is the delivery system.
