On a Toshiba, RAM most definately does not void Warranty. Hard Drive I'm not sure but I think it does not void. The CPU definately voids Toshiba's warranty.

The common sense law on this from a non lawyer and mostly gathered from auto stuff is! Of course the new parts you put in are not covered (dah), to deny coverage the part you changed had to of caused the damage,RAM,HDD less likely CPU I would say effectively voids unless say something so unrelated to MoBo stops working. You are talking some major upgrades, have you thought maybe sell and buy new? Not a desktop my friend.

Actually, Im thinking more about the future. Im interested in buying the Toshiba X205-S9349, but it comes with 2GB of RAM, the T7100 (lowest Santa Rosa) and 5400 RPM hard drives. I was just seeing how much I could squeeze out of it, say, over three years of upgrades. This would be for a year or two down the line.

I understand but just wait and see, My guess is in a couple years buying new will be more appealing. ;)
