I bought a clevo GTX 1060M 6gb DDR5 video card. I would like to do an experiment and mount it on a computer with MXM slot but it does not start because the video card has an 8-pin power input. does anyone have a schematic of this power connector? If I had I could bring the signals to the video card..

Those I know for certain, any other Clevo model that uses 10x0 MXM should also have it
Also look for mr.Fox' 8700K/1080/P870DM thread this was something he had to wire to work the 1080 (1st gen with only 4 pin vga aux pwr)
The pins themselves are just + and ground, nothing fancy.
Interesting question, where does a 19V DC source come from on a desktop motherboard with MXM slot (e.g. MicroSTX?) - are the cards not picky for 12V or 19V since its being stepped down anyway, or is 12V boosted up to 19V in the circuitry powering the slot? @Khenglish @Meaker@SagerLast edited: Apr 30, 2018
