Is it just me, or are a lot of Laptop LCD's really poorly calibrated? When I got my W3J at first I thought it was amazing but then come to realize the LCD was really poorly calibrated thus making my eyes strain after a lot of work. After some tweaking of the color settings I've made it look a lot better but this is all just my objective opinion. My question is, how do I calibrate my screen? Hopefully one of you are screen experts.![]()

Some of it is poor calibration, some is just plain cheap displays. Not that many laptops seem to have displays designed to reproduce color well and not exaggerate blacks and whites, let alone have decent viewing angles.
I used my gretagmacbeth Eye-One Display 2 to calibrate my T43's screen. Though it confirmed what I thought - the calibration of the IPS screen was pretty good to begin with.
